Not knocking what you're doing as you're in Cali and it's nice you're trying to make sure your product is available to everybody. But really, why even bother? Move to a state like Texas or Florida, both have huge car culture, lower or no taxes, and let California have their CARB and lost income from yet another company. I really have no sympathy for that state, life is better elsewhere imo. 49 state compliance wouldn't hurt any business outside California lol.
