Did you try different meth/water ratios or just stayed with boost juice?

Anyone else fitted the pure st1 yet?
Already running meth so it seems next logical step.
Would be good to get some other opinions

Might be an odd comparison but how much of a difference would there be between a completely stock car running JB+ (or JB4 Map 1) vs same car with Pure Stage 1?
Does it make much difference on the top end?
Could be a good set up on pump that looks completely stock once you unplug the JB+.

Stronger mixtures are generally better for higher end power goals.

I am currently running jb4/meth kit (vp m1) and pulled the trigger on a pure stage 1.
My core is already sent in and received by pure, awaiting on shipment. Hoping for some good results.

Top end is noticeably better. Needs more fuel. Switching from meth to E98 was a big improvement. Turn time was very fast 2-3 days I believe is their expected turn time

Installed the pure today. Did a few pulls and it feels good so far (FUA10-50add)
One or two slight closures, I didn't even feel them. I will lower the add to 40 and try FUA0, as suggested by a fellow beemer broski.
So far I can tell ya it sounds different while spooling and it might have ~200rpm lag compared to stock. It definitely pulls harder over the stock turbo
I'm running pure, meth, AP intake, er ******** and muffler delete (figured I'd share)
Boost on Broski's......

Throttle closures/movement is normal, if you don't feel them they aren't an issue.
It's only when they are more than like 50% closed for more than a few seconds which cause hesitation and issues.
Or are you saying there is hesitation

From the 12 miles or so I drove after the install I had only a few closures, none of which I actually felt.
Pure 1 is a no brainer mod is you're running meth already

I still like to run 40 add. With x98 I can hit 50 add with no closures but the car doesn't feel as fast. At 40 add I'm right around 20.5psi at 50 21.5.

question....if fueling is still an issue, wouldn't it make sense to go with bigger nozzles? and is there a way to actually control pressure or flow on the meth kit to make it inject more?

Bmw 340i Pure Stage 1
Jb4 Map 7, meth add 60, FOL 60, PID gain 12
100% methanol
10% ethanol
95 Ron gasoline
4.5" **+ mid-pipe
Cold plugs gapped at 0.02"
Dual CM10's
AFE GT intake filter
So here's the deal guys. Stage 1 does pull harder In high revs and spools almost identical to stock but you cannot run it with dual cm7's as suggested. Trims max out at 45 meth additive and you will experience horrible ignition timing, just doesn't work. I explored with nozzle sizes and the best result was with dual CM10's to hold fueling up to 65 meth additive. You can get away with one cm7 and one CM10 if your gasoline has high octane or if you have MPPK which increases the fueling cap slightly.
To give you an idea on the power: I have been benchmarking with a friends supercharged E92 M3 (fully modified). On stock turbo setup he would gain approx 3 cars on me. With stage 1, at 55 meth additive and above I pass him with a few feet. Our pulls are usually from 60 or 100km to 250km. So yes there are gains in my opinion no less than a solid 30 wheel.
As for the stock map 0 with pure, surprisingly there was no difference at all or any noticeable gains against a stock 340i. On the contrary, he was quicker which I found confusing...
Attached below is a log graph for you all at 60 meth

I'm a bit confused, maybe I'm reading it wrong.
I though with the larger nozzles number the more meth they will spray. So with more meth the trims should be better?

Run X98 instead of meth in the tank it will help significantly. Side question does 60 add feel faster than 40? Everytime I bump it up to 50 it doesn't feel any fast. I'm currently using a cm10 and cm5 I may try to put a 7 or another 10 in there. But if you make the switch from meth you'll be very pleased trust me

Do you have any track slips? What plugs are you running?
And also, I found it slower with the pure 1 on map 0 as compared to stock

Can you reattach graph? Id love to see a Dyno if you have one. I am considering a FBO 240i in the near future, would love to know what a dual CM10, stage 1 turbos would do. I would get the same setup except I would be running mostly Piss California 91 octane.

Is nobody waiting for Stage 2? It will cost more, but if you're driving a B58, money can't be that tight.
