Default 2010 N54 - Sell or Upgrade? - 09-03-2018, 12:49 PM
Love the ride - Sedan 2010 Le Mans Blue with MSport (Auto). 150k on it. Have not done much except JB4 and DCI's. All warranty crap over and taken care of. Runs great and can't complain.

Time is coming for Turbs tho. I know that. I have the waste rattle.

I'm getting old. So do I do FMIC, **'s, upgrade Turbs, etc. Or do I sell and get a Ford F150. lol.

Open to discuss.

P.S. I get it. If you love the car why post this? I'm just looking for opinion and what others have done.

It’s a tough call. Going all out in upgrades is usually 50/50 tbh- 1/2 are glad they did it, and 1/2 say I should have gotten out when I had the chance.

Personally if feasible- keep the 335, garage it, and tinker with it when you can. More will break once you start upping the power & nothing goes 100% to plan..

Thanks for reply. I think I'll do that. I'll keep it in the garage and tinker. Have some fun with it. I just love it and I can't seem to part with it!

I need to do a brake job on it. Any recommendations on brake kit?

The reason I mentioned the F150 is just that I was thinking about getting a truck. Doesn't have to be an F150. I'm also looking around for an M3 lol. So confused...

Keep the 335i, and get an F150 to tow it. We have a Jb4 for the new 2.7L TT and the 3.5L TT . Upgrade the turbos and keep on modding

If you have to ask ... you probably made up your mind already

honestly with just JB4 and DCI, can't go wrong and is a reliable setup.

But doing FBO + turbos, and using the CPI from Fuel-It instead of the PI system, could make the car MUCh more fun for a few thousand dollars. THEN it would be in a good spot to make a weekend-fun car. Get the truck and keep the car.
